​​​​Beach Week actually takes place over two weeks each Tuesday and Thursday at Kings Beach in Term 4. Being surrounded by four famous and fabulous Sunshine Coast beaches – all within walking distance - gives our students the opportunity to engage with the sand and surf as part of the Health and Physical Education curriculum.  

Students in Year 6 learn how to swim in the surf, read the waves and are instructed about the many aspects of surf safety.  Students in Years 4 and 5 learn to surf and students in Prep to Year 3 swim in the pool and learn beach safety.  As members of a coastal community, these skills are invaluable for our students.
